식품의약품안전처는 2009.10.23.부터 마약류 관리에 관한 법률 시행규칙을 개정하여 한국으로 입국하는 자가 마약 또는 향정신성의약품을 복용해야 하는 경우 우리처의 승인을 받아 휴대하여 입국하도록 하고 있습니다. Ministry of Food and Drug Safety enacted a provision to approve a person carrying with him/her medicines with controlled substances (narcotic drugs or psychoactive substances) for his/her own treatment when he/she enters into Korea, which has been implemented since Oct. 23, 2009 under the Enforcement rule of the Narcotics Control Act. 이에 따라 자가치료용 마약류를 휴대하고 한국으로 입국하는 자(내·외국민 구분 없음)는 식약처의 취급승인을 받아야 하며, 붙임에서 규정한 신청서 및 자료를 e-mail: narcotics@korea.kr 또는 fax: +82-43-719-2800으로 보내시면 10 영업일 이내에 결과를 알려드립니다. To be approved under the provision, any person who will enter into Korea with medicines containing controlled substances should get a permit from the Ministry, regardless of their nationality.
