○ To assist the rapid development of COVID-19 therapeutics and vaccines, the MFDS will develop and operate the ”GO·Expedited Review Program,“ which would support the research and development, clinical trial, among others, and minimize trial and error during each commercialization stage to expedite the development of therapeutics and vaccines.

- Research Support: The MFDS will offer scientific advice on the discovery of vaccine and therapeutics candidates, search and share animal models of COVID-19 infection, and provide clinical trial protocols for therapeutics and vaccines, among others.

- Approval Support: The MFDS will establish a “COVID-19 Inquiry Point“ for all stages beginning from research and development to approval process, and a project manager will provide customized support at each stage of development.

- Technical Information Support: The MFDS will share the methods of clinical trial design, current status of clinical trial, and rapidly publish the approval status of clinical trials of therapeutics and vaccines.

- Support for Domestic and International Cooperation: Through international cooperations, such as International Coalition of Medicines Regulatory Authorities(ICMRA), the MFDS will share information on clinical trials and evaluation conducted overseas. A hotline will be created and operated to respond to the questions from developers at the product development stage.
