Summary : In line with EU food hygiene rules, this initiative will


- extend the possibility to not classify production areas and relaying areas for harvesting of all echinoderms (marine animals, such as star fish) that are not filter feeders

- add analytical methods to detect the prior freezing of fish products

- allow post-mortem inspections of poultry carcasses reared to produce foie gras

- allow delayed eviscerated poultry (removal of poultry entrails) both in cutting plants and slaughterhouses.
