Illinois (24/7 News Source) - You could soon have to bring your ID to grab a Red Bull or Monster energy drink.
An Illinois House panel yesterday approved a proposal to limit sales of energy drinks to only people over 18-years-old.
Chicago State Rep Louis Aroyo says his plan would keep energy drinks out of the hands of kids.
But the proposal likely won't become law this year, because there's still too much opposition.
