○ A notification on Emergency Adjustment Measures for Supply and Demand is revised to adjust the existing masks-related measures done by MFDS since the volume of filtering respirators and surgical masks production increases and Koreans’ demand for them is stabilized.
- The portion of the filtering respirators sold by public retailers is adjusted from 80% to 60%.
- The 5-day rotation system for public purchase of filtering respirators is abolished to allow people to buy filtering respirators whenever they want, regardless of their year of birth.
* A purchase restriction of three filtering respirators per person each week will be carried out as before.
- Producers and traders of filtering respirators and surgical masks companies are allowed to export up to 10% of the total volume of filtering respirators and surgical masks production.
